I’ve long intended to include a blog on the Black Walnut Fiber Arts website, and finally, I’ve done it! As you can see, it is now up and running.
Over this past weekend, Mother Nature transformed the landscape surrounding my home from a symphony of tans and browns to endless planes of wind-blasted snow. I would have loved to spend a snowbound Saturday doing some indigo dyeing, and I’ve got plenty of items in the queue. But, with heavy cloud cover, arctic temperatures, swirling snow, and raging winds, the three-season porch where I do my indigo work was way, way too cold. January is arguably not one of those three seasons! Although on a bright sunny day, it’s actually lovely out there. Today, it’s again overcast and cold. No indigo for me!
